This treadle sewing machine came from the same lady I bought the Union loom from. I am waiting for the treadle belt and manual to arrive. I am looking for information on handling the restoration. Don't want to ruin it or damage the decals in trying to clean it/restore. I really want to refinish the cabinet, I think it would look nicer if I sanded and refinished it.
I love the idea of having a sewing machine that is human powered and not electric dependent. I guess it falls in line with the weaving process. All powered by ME!!!! :P
